Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the pears. Remove the core and slice them into thin pieces.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced pears, grated ginger, honey, and lemon juice. Pour in the water, ensuring everything is submerged.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat. Reduce to low heat, add cinnamon sticks, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the liquid from the pear mixture and ginger. Pour into mugs while steaming.
  5. If desired, garnish with an extra slice of pear or a cinnamon stick.
