Instructions
- Wash, peel, and dice the pears.
- In a small saucepan, add water and sliced ginger; bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Add honey or maple syrup to the ginger water while on low heat and stir until combined.
- Incorporate the diced pears and simmer for another 5-10 minutes until tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
