Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh Pears, diced
  • 1 cup Fresh Ginger, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel, and dice the pears.
  2. In a small saucepan, add water and sliced ginger; bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup to the ginger water while on low heat and stir until combined.
  4. Incorporate the diced pears and simmer for another 5-10 minutes until tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  6. Strain the mixture into a pitcher or leave solids for texture.
  7. Fill glasses with ice and pour the mixture over; top with sparkling water and garnish as desired.
