Ingredients

- 2 cups Mixed Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss the mixed berries with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the berry mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend in diced butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk and vanilla extract to the flour mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Cut out heart shapes from the dough using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
- Place the heart-shaped biscuits on top of the berry mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the berries are bubbling and the biscuits are golden brown.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
