Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by washing and slicing them into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well before adding the next, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the diced strawberries and white chocolate chips, if using.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
