Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Corn or 1.5 cups frozen
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Tater Tots
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, diced onion, and diced green bell pepper until browned and soft, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Stir in corn and cream of mushroom soup until well combined.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Top with an even layer of tater tots.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until melted.
  9. Let cool for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using lean ground beef, turkey, or homemade cream of mushroom soup.
