- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken wings in a large bowl and pat dry with paper towels.
- Drizzle wings with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper, tossing until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine diced pineapple, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
- Brush the baked wings generously with the pineapple glaze and reserve some for serving.
- Return the glazed wings to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
- Let the wings rest for a few minutes before serving, pairing with fresh pineapple slices or coleslaw.
Notes
For a milder option, you can replace red pepper flakes with paprika or omit them altogether.
