Ingredients

- Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until completely liquefied.
- Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar until smooth and lump-free.
- Stir in heavy cream and peppermint extract, adjusting flavor as desired.
- Add cornstarch in small increments and mix until dough is pliable but not sticky.
- If desired, add food coloring and mix until achieving the desired shade.
- Shape the mixture into small disks or balls.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to cool until firm, about 1 hour.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with almond milk. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
