Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter and lightly dust it with flour.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, matcha powder, and baking powder in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, stirring until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
