Ingredients
Scale
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined, chopped
8 oz lump crab meat
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish or an ovenproof skillet.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until just fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted and bright green, 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and gently squeeze out excess moisture with a clean towel.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
Fold in the mozzarella, parmesan, Old Bay, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until the cheeses are well distributed and glossy.
Gently fold in the shrimp, crab meat, spinach, and lemon juice. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes if desired.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the top is just starting to turn golden. If you like a more browned top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives, then serve with crusty bread, crostini, pita chips, or crisp veggie sticks.
