- 1 pre-made or homemade pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 6 cloves garlic, roasted
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- ½ cup black olives, sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil or oregano, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Wrap garlic cloves in foil with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and roast for 25 minutes. Mash into a paste.
- In a skillet, heat remaining olive oil over medium heat and sauté spinach until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Spread roasted garlic over the pizza crust, add sautéed spinach, crumbled feta, and shredded mozzarella. Sprinkle with chili flakes and olives.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheeses are bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil or oregano before slicing.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute whole wheat crust for traditional dough and consider using nutritional yeast instead of some cheese.
