Description
Delicious and satisfying homemade focaccia muffins infused with garlic and fresh rosemary, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Make a well in the center and gradually add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Add the minced garlic and finely chopped rosemary into the dough. Knead for about 5 minutes on a floured surface.
- Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
- Punch down the dough and turn it onto a floured surface. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape each into a ball. Place them in a greased muffin tin.
- Cover the muffin tin with a towel and let the dough balls rise for another 15 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Once the second rise is complete, bake the muffins for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes in the muffin tin before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For a lighter touch, consider using a lighter olive oil or avocado oil. Substitute dried rosemary if fresh is unavailable, but use less due to potency.
