Delightful homemade garlic parmesan focaccia bread that’s easy to make and bursting with flavor.
Ingredients

- 3 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
- 1 ½ cups Warm Water (110°F)
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- Fresh Herbs (optional: Rosemary or Thyme)
Instructions
- Activate the Yeast: Combine warm water, active dry yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Prepare the Dough: Mix flour and sea salt in a bowl. Make a well, add yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix and Knead: Stir until shaggy dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- First Rise: Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Shape the Dough: Punch down the risen dough, transfer to a greased baking sheet, and stretch into shape.
- Prepare the Topping: Preheat oven to 425°F. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle garlic and parmesan cheese on top.
- Second Rise and Baking: Let rise for 20-30 minutes, then bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish and Serve: Brush with olive oil, cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle fresh herbs before baking. Store leftovers at room temperature wrapped in a clean towel for up to 2 days.
