Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan (9×5 inches) with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the beer and melted butter. Stir gently until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
