- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 12 ounces beer
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan (9×5 inches) with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the beer and melted butter. Stir gently until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
