  • Sturdy sourdough or Italian loaf
  • Sharp cheddar cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Freshly minced garlic
  • Unsalted butter
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and prep everything before starting.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice and stack cheese on the non-buttered side.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Grill the sandwich butter-side down for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Press down gently.
  6. Flip and grill the other side for an additional 4-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  7. Remove, cut in half, and serve while warm.

Notes
