Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open the crescent roll dough package and unroll it carefully on a floured surface. Pinch the seams together to form a sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon until evenly combined.
- Brush melted butter over the dough surface.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
- Cut the dough into 1-inch strips, twist them, and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash if using.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
