Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup chopped imitation crab (or fresh crab)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • Soy sauce, for drizzling
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and rinse under cold water until clear.
  2. Transfer cooked rice to a bowl and fold in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt while warm.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, imitation crab, green onions, and Sriracha until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the sushi rice in a greased baking dish, layer crab mixture on top, then add remaining rice.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-30 minutes until warmed and slightly browned.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds, drizzle with soy sauce, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using brown rice or Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
