Description

A quick and delicious one-pot lasagna made with gnocchi, perfect for weeknight dinners in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or Sausage
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Basil or Spinach, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef or sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Pour in the marinara sauce, followed by the gnocchi. Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer.
  4. Dollop ricotta over the mixture, sprinkle mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top, cover with a lid, and let simmer on low for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add fresh basil or spinach, and let it wilt slightly while stirring for another minute or two.
  6. Remove from heat, let cool for a minute, and serve warm garnished with extra basil or Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a lighter option, use ground turkey or plant-based sausage. Consider garnishing with fresh herbs for added flavor.
