Description

Delicious and healthy avocado fries coated in Parmesan and air-fried for a crispy texture.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and slice into wedges.
  2. In one bowl, place the beaten eggs. In another, combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each avocado wedge into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Arrange avocado fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Make sure to use slightly firm avocados for best results. Try serving with homemade tzatziki or spicy mayo for extra flavor.
