Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar, mixing well. Add the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Shape the dough into balls and roll each in powdered sugar until coated.
  7. Place the rolled balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a vegan alternative, use flax eggs instead of regular eggs and dairy-free cream cheese.
