- 1 pound Chinese green beans, washed and trimmed
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Green Beans by washing and trimming the ends.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the prepared green beans and stir quickly to coat them in the garlic and oil mixture.
- Pour in the soy sauce and add red pepper flakes, stir-fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until beans are tender but crisp.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil, tossing to combine.
- Serve immediately in a serving dish.
Notes
For a different flavor, consider using chili oil instead of sesame oil. You can serve these beans over rice or as a side to a protein dish.
