Description

A creamy and indulgent dip made with fresh spinach, ricotta, and a blend of cheeses, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (or thawed and drained frozen spinach)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing for 3-5 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until just wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach mixture with ricotta, cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Stir well.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving with pita chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Ensure spinach is well-drained if using frozen to prevent a watery dip. You can use low-fat or non-dairy cream cheese for lighter alternatives.
