Description

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your muffin tin generously with butter or line it with muffin liners.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, melted unsalted butter, whole milk, vanilla extract, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  5. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in half of the caramel sauce gently into the batter.
  7. Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for about 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack and drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.

Notes

For healthier alternatives, consider using whole grain flour, reduced sugar, or Greek yogurt instead of butter.
