- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your muffin tin generously with butter or line it with muffin liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, melted unsalted butter, whole milk, vanilla extract, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in half of the caramel sauce gently into the batter.
- Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for about 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack and drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.
Notes
For healthier alternatives, consider using whole grain flour, reduced sugar, or Greek yogurt instead of butter.
