Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pineapple: Slice off the crown and base of the pineapple, then peel the skin and remove the ‘eyes.’
  2. Cut into Rings: Cut the pineapple into 1-inch thick rings for optimal grilling.
  3. Mix the Brown Sugar and Spices: In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon (if using).
  4. Brush with Butter or Coconut Oil: Mix melted butter or coconut oil with lime juice and brush on both sides of the pineapple rings.
  5. Coat with the Sugar Mixture: Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over both sides of pineapple rings.
