- 4 day-old croissants, chopped
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Chop the day-old croissants into bite-sized pieces and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
- Toss the mixed berries with a teaspoon of sugar in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until fully combined.
- Layer the berries over the croissants, then pour the egg custard mixture over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter bake, consider using egg whites instead of whole eggs. Serve warm with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or yogurt.
