- 3–4 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then whisk in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
