  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then whisk in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
