  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 4 packages Cream Cheese (8 oz each)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, creating a slight rise along the edges. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Gradually add sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, blending well after each.
  4. Chop 6 Oreos and fold into the cheesecake batter.
  5. Pour the filling over the cooled crust and spread it evenly. Bake for 45 minutes or until the edges are set but the center jiggles slightly.
  6. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool for about an hour. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
