Deliciously soft and chewy cookies infused with apple cider and warm spices, perfect for fall.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup apple cider
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk together.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and apple cider to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes.
- Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough in powdered sugar.
- Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Cool cookies completely for best texture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate for longer freshness.
