Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up, for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in bell peppers, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce; stir to combine. Mix in elbow macaroni.
  5. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for the perfect meal. It’s great for leftovers and can be frozen for later use.
