Description

A quick and delightful appetizer combining crispy phyllo cups with creamy feta and a drizzle of hot honey.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Feta Cheese
  • 10 sheets Phyllo Dough
  • ¼ cup Hot Honey
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Oregano, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough, brushing lightly with olive oil. Layer another sheet on top and repeat.
  3. Cut the layered phyllo sheets into 3×3 inch squares.
  4. Press phyllo squares into a mini muffin tin to form cups.
  5. Crumble feta into each phyllo cup.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over each feta cup.
  7. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until phyllo is golden brown.
  8. Drizzle hot honey over the feta cups immediately after baking.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

Use quality block feta for best results. Experiment with flavorful herbs.
